Hello December

I have been meaning to blog all month long, but I didn't and now it's December so here is a summary of our November... Starting the last weekend in October...  I ran the Halloween Half Marathon in Provo with my friend Alicia.  Since I decided 10 days in advance and had no time to train I was really hoping just to finish.  The good news is that it was a pretty easy course (mostly downhill) and I finished in 2 hrs and 36 seconds...dang those 36 seconds.  I really wanted to beat 2 hours.  However, I decided I'm taking about 3 minutes off my time because they stopped us halfway through the race so they could let traffic go through.  So there you have it... I have unofficially beat 2 hours.  It was a really fun race even if I was more sore than I've ever been in my life for about a week after.  People were dressed up in crazy costumes...I went with the pumpkin shirt cause there was no way I was running 13 miles in some bulky, heavy costume.

Alicia wore a wig the whole time!  Crazy girl.  She said it wasn't a big deal though.  I almost painted my hair green, but I thought I'd have green sweat dripping into my eyes after the first few miles so I opted out.

Jason and Marilyn were so nice and came down to cheer us on.

Then a few weeks ago we went down to St George to see these two lovelies get married!  Miss Kaylee Childers is now Mrs. Jacob Gwilliam.  We're seriously so happy for them.  What an eventful year it has been for the girls of the Turnberry Express.

Here we are back in February up snowshoeing by our ownselves..  boy drama galore.

Then came June 18th...

And then August 5th...

And finally November 19th...

Phew...who would have thought?  What a blessed year it has been!

Here we are with the beautiful bride

Me and Jas outside the St George temple.  We've been married for 5 months now...can you believe it?

So while we were in the vicinity of St. George we just had to check out the Biggest Loser's Fitness Ridge Resort.  We drove around the whole campus and checked out the facilities.  No Bob or past contestants to be found...  We did see a filming crew walking in though.  I <3 the Biggest Loser.

And finally, we had a lovely Thanksgiving.  It was basically 4 days of eating nonstop and watching movies with a few outings for some black friday shopping madness.  We also stayed those 4 nights at Jason's parents house because Jason wanted to be "home" for Thanksgiving.  Yes, we do live less than 10 minutes away, but it was really fun having a 4 day slumber party.  In his free time Jason created this beauty...  That's right, it's almost as tall as him.  I'm not sure he's ever been happier.

And the best news of November is that I'm an Aunt again!  Josee Lynn was born on the 29th and she is adorable. I can hardly wait to meet her.  Congratulations to Josh and Angela!
