Now we're never going to get to bed on time...

The last couple of weeks Jason has been talking about Donkey Kong on Super Nintendo...about how it's his favorite game ever and how much he used to like it.  Well, he thought that his parents still had it, but they didn't so unbeknownst to me he found it on Amazon and ordered himself a copy.  It came in last week and he was so excited.  He packed up the old Super Nintendo that his parents had and brought it all to our house.  He hooked it up last night and let me tell you it is every bit as fun as I remember.  We didn't even start playing until like 10 because Jason was working on homework all night...so you can imagine we did not get to bed on time at all.  Seriously though, Donkey Kong is the best game ever.  When I was in college, Audrey brought their Super Nintendo from home and we played it all the time.  I'm pretty sure that's how we made most of our friends...challenging them to Tetris wars.  Not many people can turn down the ol' Super Nintendo.  I'm pretty excited to have one again.  Maybe it will help us make friends in our new ward.  Anyway, we're pretty excited. We're going to beat Donkey Kong.  I don't think I ever did..what with those crazy thorny bees and the jumping lizards it gets pretty hard.  But do you remember how you get to ride the dolphin in the water levels?  And then there's the rhino and the frog that jumps really high..  Seriously, so fun.  I guess this is just one more reason to come visit us.

Yeah the graphics are pretty awesome...

Also, the Biggest Loser is starting again one week from today!   I can't even wait.
