July Update

I started my new job and my hours are significantly longer and busier so the ol' blog has been on the back burner lately. The summer is flying by and I don't even want to think about Jason going back to school in just a few short weeks. It's pretty much been the best summer ever...it has to be, right? Since we got MARRIED and all. Plus we've been doing lots of other fun things like...

Learning how to use our new blender...

Seeing the final Harry Potter in Imax 3D. I normally hate 3D cause of the stupid glasses, but I must admit it was pretty sweet. (I realize this is not a fantastic picture, but the people behind us got seriously mad after the first flash so we were too scared to take another).

Going to Lagoon... It turns out I can't really handle the big kids rides anymore. I seriously felt sick after like 3 rides. It was pathetic. I didn't want to hold Jason back so I just watched him from the side lines and took pictures with all the other moms... I suck.

He still had fun without me..

And some wakeboarding... Which is so much fun while you're actually in the water, but seriously miserable the 3 days after when you feel like you got ran over by a train...maybe even 2 trains. We both had to bust out the icy hot patches and sleep with them on our backs. It was absolutely miserable. So as much fun as I had I'm gonna have to say it might not be worth the pain and agony and 2 nights of terrible sleep.

And watching our wonderful friends Brian and Jessica be married this morning in the Salt Lake temple. Can't wait for their reception tonight. We seriously love them. Jess was my roommate for the past year and a half so we've seen their relationship from the beginning. They really are perfect for each other and we're so excited to have another newlywed couple right down the road.
We'll be married 7 weeks tomorrow! It's been an amazing summer. And we still have 3 weeks left! I sure wish it were more though...
