2 Strikes and You're Out

That's right in slow pitch softball you only get 2 strikes. You would think it would be enough. I mean, it's slow pitch. Well, let me tell you, sometimes it's not. I struck out not once, but twice in our game last night. Luckily, we were up by a lot so it wasn't that big of a deal other than the embarrassment. Seriously, there's nothing worse than swinging and missing a ball that is traveling at a top speed of 5 mph. Then there's the walk of shame back to the dugout... On the bright side Jason played really well and even hit a homerun. I think he felt pressure to compensate for my suckiness. He got on base every time and had several good hits. Afterwards, we went to McDonalds to get Jason his home run treat. He chose a rolo McFlurry, which was delicious even though it had caramel in it. He also got me a diet coke even though I didn't earn it. What a nice husband I have.
